AI notes (Enhance)

Raw transcripts are useful but messy. Enhance turns a transcript into structured notes: a summary, decisions, action items, whatever the template calls for.

Press Cmd+E on a meeting, or click Enhance. Perchnote sends the transcript plus a template prompt to your chosen AI provider and writes the result back as a clean note.

Templates. Perchnote ships with several templates for different meeting types, and you can create your own under Settings, then Templates. A template is just a label plus the prompt that shapes the output, so you can tune the format to how you like your notes.

Verifiable. Summaries stream live as they are written. The model pulls verbatim quotes from the transcript first and then composes the note around them, so you can see where every claim came from. Action items and bullets carry a ▸ m:ss timestamp chip; click it and playback jumps to the cited moment in the recording.

Catch me up. One click on Catch me up gives you a recap of a call you joined late, so you can land on the same page as everyone else without rewinding.

Recipes. Save a prompt you find yourself using (something like "draft the follow-up email") as a Recipe and you can run it against any meeting later with a click.

Instant recap. Turn on auto-enhance (Settings, then General) and Perchnote runs Enhance automatically the moment a recording finishes. You get a recap waiting for you without lifting a finger. You can set a focus hint before generation if you want the AI to pay attention to something specific.

Undo. Enhancing keeps your raw transcript intact. If you do not like the result, undo the enhancement to get the raw notes back, then try a different template.
