Core Features

Tasks

A cross-meeting view of every open action item, with snooze, stale-item triage, and exports to Apple Reminders and Things.

Cmd+2 (or the Tasks tab) opens a single rolled-up list of every open action item across every meeting. Each item shows the meeting it came from and the meeting-stated deadline, if there was one. Filters let you flip between open and done.

Operations.

  • Check off. Marking an item done writes back to the source meeting note, so the meeting and the rollup never disagree.
  • Snooze. Hide an item until a date you pick. Snooze never touches the meeting-stated deadline, it just gets the item out of your face for a while.
  • Stale-item triage. A card surfaces items that have been open for several weeks with three buttons: Done, Snooze, Drop. One pass and your list is honest again.
  • Week-in-review. A Monday morning card recaps last week's wins and lists what is still open, so you start the week with the picture in front of you.

Export.

  • Apple Reminders. One click creates a Reminders list called "Perchnote" and adds every open item to it. The export is idempotent, so re-running it does not duplicate items. Checking an item off in Reminders syncs the completion back to Perchnote.
  • Things 3. One-click hand-off through the standard Things URL scheme.

When to use. When you want one place to see every open commitment across last quarter's meetings, not one meeting at a time.
