Insights

A monthly read on your meeting load, talk-balance, and topic trackers. Everything is computed locally; only the optional monthly narrative makes one AI call.

Insights is a month-by-month dashboard of how you actually spend your meeting time. Open it from the sidebar (or Cmd+5).

What it shows.

  • Meeting load. Total count and total hours per month, so you can see when the calendar is genuinely heavier vs. when it just feels that way.
  • Open-loop trend. How many open action items are aging out over time, so you can spot the months where the to-do pile started outrunning the follow-through.
  • Topic trackers. You configure a comma-separated list of topics in Settings. Each tracker is counted per month using local full-text search over the trailing six months of meetings, so you can watch a theme rise or fall across the quarter.
  • Talk-balance. A you-vs-them ratio for any meeting where stereo recording captured both channels, so you can see at a glance how much you talked.

Monthly narrative (optional). If you want it, one local AI call summarizes the month into a short narrative from aggregate facts only: counts, hours, and meeting titles. Note bodies and transcripts never travel with this call. The narrative is cached, so the same month is not re-summarized on every visit.

Year-end brag doc. An exported recap of your full year of meetings, built from the same monthly rollups. Same data-flow rules apply: aggregates only, no transcript text.

Everything in Insights except the optional monthly, quarterly, or year narratives runs entirely against the local database. No AI call is made.
